Northern Ireland Fencing recommends that all fencers register as members to NIF in the appropriate category. It gives added insurance cover and is also a requirement to participate in any competition or event/course in N.Ireland.
Why should I join NIF? What do I get for my money?
Membership of Northern Ireland Fencing helps ensure a strong and healthy lobby for your sport in your country. NIF is effectively part of the BFA, and by becoming a member you can ensure that a strong local voice can be presented at the national governing body.
Benefits: Personal accident (cover ceases at 75) & civil liability insurance cover; the Sword magazine; right to vote at general meetings and right to vote in ballots for election of officers; attend BFA courses and obtain BFA awards. Competition: All relevant British and International events, including County & Region events, novices championships, Winton Cup and all Open events.

Benefits: Personal accident (cover limited for under 16) & civil liability insurance cover; the Sword magazine; attend BFA courses and obtain BFA awards. Competition: All relevant British and International events, including County & Region events, novices championships, Winton Cup and all Open events, plus all relevant age group events at County and Region competitions, British Age Group Championships & Public School Championships including U20 Championships.
Under 13
