Fencing Opportunities for All at NI Open 14th Jan 10
Do
you know someone who could be a fantastic foilist or a sensational sabreur? This
year everyone will have an ideal opportunity to enjoy some fencing as Mini-Fence
will be making its debut appearance at the Northern Ireland Open in Belfast this Saturday and
Sunday.
Mini-Fence will be running in the café area of the
Avoneil leisure centre (just off Albert
Bridge Road) on both Saturday 16th and
Sunday 17th January while the Northern Ireland Open is underway. Mini-Fence
is safe and fun for all ages - the novice fencer can learn the basics like the
en garde position and can try out some basic blade work while under careful
supervision.No experience or kit is
needed as masks and swords are provided. All are welcome.
