SUMMARY:Anti-doping Training
DESCRIPTION:NI fencing has arranged anti-doping training prior to the Commonwealth Championships this summer\, and it’s a good opportunity for all competitors (\, parents) and coaches to refresh their training as it is recommended that it is renewed every couple of years.\n\n \n      7pm Thurs 20th June at the Commonwealth Games Office \n      11 Great Northern Street\, Belfast\,  BT9 7FJ\n\n \nThe anti-doping training will be taken by Wendy Henderson (Anti-doping Consultant Sports NI) in conjunction with Phil McKelvey (Doping Control Officer and UKAD National Trainer)\, and it will take 90 minutes including lots of time for questions.\n\n \nTo secure your place\, please contact karen.armitage@nifencing.com asap.\n\n \nNI Fencing will be offering more in-person training in the new year\, but in the meantime\, please see Athletes | UK Anti-Doping (ukad.org.uk) and Coach Clean eLearning | UK Anti-Doping (ukad.org.uk)\n\n \nYou can find out more about the latest prohibited substances at:\nThe 2024 Prohibited List: Summary of Changes | UK Anti-Doping (ukad.org.uk)\n\n
