DESCRIPTION:When?  Thursday 21 November 2024\, 7pm – 9.30pm \nWhere?  NSPCC\, 2nd Floor\, Lanyon Buildings\, 10-31 North Derby Street\, Belfast BT15 3HL (directions) \nWhat is it?  An in-person safeguarding workshop led by Paul Stevenson (Senior Consultant\, Child Protection in Sport Unit\, NSPCC). Paul will explain how to spot safeguarding risks\, how to pre-empt them\, how to report and manage them\, and guidance on best practice. \nWho for?  Coaches\, athletes\, club officials\, parents and volunteers. Successful participants will be presented with a safeguarding certificate that can be used for British Fencing registration purposes.     \nSpaces available for 20 participants on a first-come\, first-served basis.
