Safeguarding Workshop

When? Thursday 21 November 2024, 7pm – 9.30pm
Where? NSPCC, 2nd Floor, Lanyon Buildings, 10-31 North Derby Street, Belfast BT15 3HL (directions)
What is it? An in-person safeguarding workshop led by Paul Stevenson (Senior Consultant, Child Protection in Sport Unit, NSPCC). Paul will explain how to spot safeguarding risks, how to pre-empt them, how to report and manage them, and guidance on best practice.
Who for? Coaches, athletes, club officials, parents and volunteers. Successful participants will be presented with a safeguarding certificate that can be used for British Fencing registration purposes.
