The new Northern Ireland – Fencing Ireland Associate Membership allows members of Fencing Ireland who hold a competitive licence to enter unlimited British Fencing registered competitions in Northern Ireland.

The annual membership cost is £12 (£10 via auto renewal after the first year).

Previously, members of any other federation (e.g. Fencing Ireland) could apply for a temporary compete licence to enter, however this is limited to two competitions per year. BF recognises that a number of Fencing Ireland Members would like to travel to Northern Ireland to compete on a more regular basis.

The membership type is similar to an existing associate membership offered by Fencing Ireland allowing British Fencing Members to compete in Ireland for a reduced fee.
